Comprehensive, Advice-Only
Financial Planning
Investments
- My investment philosophy is simple - focus on what you can control and don’t try to predict the markets.
- I will work with you to understand your risk tolerance and utilize asset allocation to control that risk in your portfolio.
- We will explore passively managed investments to fill that allocation and gain broad market exposure and adequate diversification, while keeping your investment costs as low as possible.
Taxes
Taxes are complex and constantly changing. Often clients “don’t know what they don’t know” and can be paying a lot more in taxes than they should.
I will review your tax returns, help identify strategies to minimize your taxes, and create a tax-efficient withdrawal plan.
I can also help you plan for significant tax events like the sale of a business, real estate or concentrated stock.
Cash Flow
The focus of cash flow planning is to understand what your desired lifestyle is during retirement.
Then, I help you assess whether your cash flow and portfolio can sustain that lifestyle. In other words, we answer the question “Will I run out of money?”
If it looks like this might be the case, I will work with you to come up with practical planning options to help you increase the likelihood of not running out of money.
Estate & Risk
Estate planning is about leaving a legacy and protecting your surviving loved ones.
I’ll review and evaluate your estate planning documents, beneficiary designations, and asset titling to ensure your legacy goals are properly reflected and will be carried out according to your desires.
I can also review the adequacy of insurance and other legal structures you have in place to protect your family and assets.
